But Soft, What Light Through Yonder Window Breaks

Today we talked about what an Iambic Pentameter is.  Iambic Pentameter is a line that is ten syllables with five being unstressed and five being stressed.  It just so happens that part of our set piece is in Iambic Pentameter:
"But Soft, What light through yonder window breaks. . . "

We also had our first crowning of the year today!  Congratulations to Hannah Owen who has either read, watched or listened to seventeen Shakespeare plays!!!!

This week's assignment is to read Act II, Scene 1-3 in Romeo and Juliet and to write the paper on: "What is love? Is there a difference between love and friendship?"  Also, be working on your set piece, Iambic Pentameter and vocabulary lists.
